Work Session Tryout

We tried having a longer meeting that incorporated a work session. It seemed to go well, and could be a very productive tool in the weeks leading up to the fall semester (work sessions will most definitely be part of our schedule during the school year).

We plan on having extended meetings with work sessions every other week. This would mean that the next work session will be during our meeting on Monday, July 26th.


Check-Outs

Randy, David and Nyssa checked out for varying amounts of time...

Nyssa checked out for the weekend (thru Sunday, July 18th)
Randy checked out thru the Tuesday following the meeting (July 20th)
David is checked out for the rest of July.

And, of course, Chin is still checked out due to being back in New Jersey (though, if I'm not mistaken, he should be coming back in the next week or so, right?).


Tasks for Next Meeting

Due to checkouts there's been a bit of shuffling, but here are the tasks everyone will be working on for next meeting (7/26/2010)...

• Kieran: Top-down map of the village.
  
• David: Checked out.
  
• Chase: Concepting Mahaka's (the main character) house area.
  
• Nyssa: Dad character cleanup/finalization. Dad model sheet.
  
• Randy: Research on fur shaders and fur materials.
  
• Chin: Taking day trips to NYC and realizing how much cooler it is than Jersey.
